BMW fixes security flaw in its in-car software


Reuters - (International) BMW reported January 30 that it fixed a security flaw which affected cars equipped with the company's ConnectedDrive software using on-board SIM cards, which could have allowed hackers to unlock the doors and potentially access onboard vehicle computer systems of up to 2.2 million Rolls-Royce, Mini, and BMW vehicles.
