Confidential patient information exposed after computer theft

WVUE 8 New Orleans - (Louisiana; Mississippi) The Louisiana State University Health New Orleans School of Medicine announced September 15 that the personal and medical information of approximately 5,000 patients from Louisiana and Mississippi may have been accessed after a laptop was stolen from a faculty member's car in July.
