Emerson patches series of flaws in controllers used in oil and gas pipelines

Threatpost - (National) Researchers identified and reported several vulnerabilities in Emerson Process Management's ROC800 remote terminal units (RTU) widely used in oil and gas pipelines and other applications, and has issued patches for all vulnerabilities except for an authentication bypass issue. The company recommends that customers install a secure router in front of the vulnerable products to mitigate this vulnerability.
