Tallahassee woman charged with filing more than $23,000 in fraudulent medical claims

Tallahassee Democrat - (Florida) Police charged a Tallahassee Orthopedic Clinic employee after she received more than $23,000 in fake health insurance reimbursements when she falsified 18 claims for doctor visits and services that never occurred. The suspect downloaded reimbursement forms from the AFLAC insurance company's Web site and falsely filled them out using medical information she accessed through a work computer.
