Lancaster County alerting EMS patients about missing personal information

Rock Hill Herald - (South Carolina) Emergency services patients were notified by officials June 15 of a possible security breach after a safe was discovered missing from a Lancaster County building April 16. The safe contained several unencrypted flash drives and hard drives which may have included sensitive personal and medical information for all EMS patients since 2004, although county officials have stated there is no evidence the information has been used.
