US Secret Service alerts InterContinental Hotel Group of data breach

Softpedia - (Louisiana) The U.S. Secret Service notified the InterContinental Hotel Group of a potential breach of its payment processing systems at its Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel in Sulphur, Louisiana, which may have exposed the personal and financial information of 613 customers from October 2014 to February 2015. Cities Service, an affiliate of InterContinental Hotel Group, notified customers and removed the compromised workstation from the network and worked to update its security procedures in order to mitigate any future breaches.
