2015/08/27

Help Net Security - (National) Security researchers with KPMG conducted a survey with input from chief information officers, chief technology officers, chief security officers, and chief compliance officers at about 5,000 health care providers and health plans and determined that 81 percent of health care executives believe that their organizations have been compromised by at least 1 malware, botnet, or other cyber-attack in the last 2 years. Polling also found that 65 percent of attacks within an organization were external, and that only half of organizations feel that they are adequately prepared in preventing attacks, among other findings.
