UCLA Health notifies patients of data breach after laptop theft

University of California, Los Angeles Daily Bruin - (California) Approximately 1,242 patients were notified by University of California, Los Angeles Health September 1 that their medical information may have been exposed after a faculty member's laptop was stolen early July. The hospital center found no evidence that the information was misused.
