Memorial Hermann notifies patients of privacy breach

KHOU 11 Houston - (Texas) A former clinical employee at the Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston accessed 10,604 patients' electronic medical records without authorization from December 2007 to July 2014, the hospital announced August 29. Patients' were notified that their names, dates of birth, addresses, and some Social Security numbers were viewed in the breach.
