Missing Riverside Hospital laptop may have contained data of 7,900 patients

KABC 7 Los Angeles - (California) Riverside County Regional Medical Center in California worked to notify nearly 7,900 patients after an unencrypted laptop containing the personal and health information of patients who received ophthalmology and dermatology services between January 2012 and November 2014 went missing in December. The hospital strengthened its inventory controls and continues to investigate.
