Recursive DNS resolvers affected by serious vulnerability

Securityweek - (International) The Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Center (CERT/CC) reported December 9 that recursive Domain Name System (DNS) resolvers are vulnerable to an issue where a malicious authoritative server can cause them to follow an infinite chain of referrals, leading to a denial of service (DoS) state.
