Rackspace restored after DDOS takes out DNS

The Register - (International) Rackspace stated that it has recovered from a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack that began December 22 and lasted for about 11 hours, resulting in some legitimate traffic to the company's DNS infrastructure being blocked.
