Planned outage of internet-linked systems


U.S. Department of State - (National) The U.S. Department of State released March 13 that it will temporarily takedown its main unclassified network in order to make improvements to the security of Internet-linked systems following an increase in reports of cyber incidents among the department. Officials asserted that no classified systems, or core financial, human resource, or consular systems were compromised.
