KER-CHING! CryptoWall ransomware scam rakes in $1 MEEELLION

The Register - (International) Dell SecureWorks researchers published an analysis of the CryptoWall ransomware and found that it continues to be the largest ransomware threat, extorting at least $1 million from victims. The researchers detected around 625,000 systems infected with the ransomware between mid-March and late August, encrypting over 5.25 billion files, among other findings.
