“Friendlier” Critroni ransomware variants spotted in the wild

Softpedia – (International) Security researchers at Trend Micro discovered new strains of Critroni ransomware (CTB-Locker) in January that allows a grace period of 96 hours, the opportunity to decrypt five files, and an increase in the ransom amount.
