Computer glitch may have exposed student data

Minneapolis Star Tribune - (Minnesota) The Minnesota Office of Higher Education announced September 5 that a coding error on the State's Student Educational Loan Fund program may have compromised the private information, including Social Security numbers, of college students seeking loans after it was discovered the weekend of August 30. Officials are investigating and will notify all students affected by the glitch.
