Gmail for iOS poses man-in-the-middle attack risk

Softpedia - (International) Lacoon researchers found the Gmail app for iOS can leave users vulnerable to man-in-the-middle (MitM) attacks due to the app lacking the certificate pinning feature. This could allow attackers to use a rogue certificate to impersonate the Gmail server and route traffic through their systems.
