Governor signs law requiring health insurance companies to encrypt personal information

Newark Star-Ledger - (New Jersey) The New Jersey governor signed a new law requiring health insurance companies in New Jersey to protect client information by encrypting data following a series of security breaches in the State involving stolen laptops protected only by passwords and containing sensitive policyholder information.
