New variant of Vawtrak banking trojan delivered by Chanitor downloader

Softpedia - (International) Researchers with Zscaler identified a new fraud campaign that delivers the Vawtrak (also known as Neverquest or Snifula) financial malware using an updated version of the Chanitor downloader. The downloader is delivered via phishing emails and the campaign uses encrypted traffic passing through the Tor anonymity network to connect with its command and control servers.
