Boston Children's Hospital to pay $40,000 fine over data breach

WBZ 4 Boston - (Massachusetts) The Massachusetts Attorney General's office announced December 19 that Boston Children's Hospital agreed to pay a $40,000 fine and to improve its security measures following a 2012 data breach that exposed the information of over 2,000 patients after an unencrypted laptop was stolen from a physician during a conference in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
