UMaine probing data breach affecting more than 900

Bangor Daily News - (Maine) The University of Maine reported February 18 that a data breach may have exposed the personal information of 941 students enrolled in physics courses dating back to 1999 after a laptop and media card used by a faculty member went missing from a checked bag during a flight February 10. Social Security numbers for 604 of those students were also stored on the laptop.
