Description

LSAC(v2)
The kernel packages contain the Linux kernel, the core of any Linux operating system. This update fixes the following bug: * Prior to this update, before the newer in-memory timestamp was synchronized to disk, it was being overwritten by an older timestamp from the disk. As a consequence, on a GFS2 file system, when one cluster node wrote to a file and another read from the same file, the "mtime" timestamp was not always updated after the file had been modified. The provided patch fixes the timestamp bug, and as a result, "mtime" is updated in the aforementioned scenario as expected. (BZ#1304847) Users of kernel are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug. The system must be rebooted for this update to take effect.
